Blog Publishing

I have installed an interesting application - BlogJet. It's a cool Windows client for my blog tool, which supports my account at TypePad.

I sometimes wonder, though, if should go all the way and stop using Typepad or any other weblog-hosting company and publish blogs directly into my own website using one of the many blog-publishing applications available.

Any recommendations?
